Original double fake
plumb line (can be made with kitchen string or thick sewing thread and a small weight)
-brush or roller
-Paint or coffee or tea
-Print the “Dima” file on A4 sheet of paper
-Print the “Signature” file on A4 sheet of paper
The work needs two people to be made, as does the Ikea furniture.
Establish the wall or the portion of wall to be dedicated to the work. A smooth and well shaved wall is recommended.
Print the “Dima” file on an A4 sheet of paper… Place the sheet of paper in conjunction with one of the lower corners of the wall or part of the wall to be dedicated to the work and draw the starting points of the lines with a pencil, moving the “Dima” along its entire length. The lines are strictly 8.7cm thick.
Establish with the plumb line the upper starting point of the lines and mark it with the pencil: the assistant checks that the plumb line coincides perfectly with the lower point of the same line you want to draw.
Mask a yes and no line alternately with paper tape. Attention. Make the tape adhere well to the wall to avoid inaccuracies.
Paint the lines uncovered, let it dry and remove the tape.
Reproduce the “Signature” provided at any point on the wall.
Enjoy the work.
He was born in Bologna into a family composed entirely of doctors, from whom he absorbed and introjected scientific methodology. Not inclined by nature to the family profession, after an existence as messy as colorful, in 2008 he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, sazione Pittura. From here he moves to the third dimension. The cultural imprinting has repercussions on the whole work, recriminating its own space. The artistic practice often makes use of the collaboration with disparate professional figures, including chemists, physicists and engineers. He has exhibited in private and public institutions such as Kunsthalle Winterthur, Victoria and Albert Museum, M.A.R., Izolatzya Foundation Donetsk and Nanjing International Art Center. In 2017 he theorized the fortunate, fortuitous, stateless contemporary art format R A I D.
