Biography:
Marco Strappato (Porto San Giorgio, 1982) is an Italian artist based in Milan. His work is engaged in a pressing and urgent reconsideration of the production and distribution of images in contemporary times. His most recent works look at the landscape and technology, the screen and the infinite space that technology itself offers us; these themes lead him to question himself about what we could define as the sublime technology.
He attended the Royal College of Art in London, obtaining a Master in Sculpture. His work is part of several public and private collections and has been widely exhibited. We mention his solo exhibitions at The Gallery Apart, Rome (2019, 2015, 2013); Palazzo Ducale di Urbino; Ex-chiesetta, Polignano a Mare (2017); Crédit Agricole (a project by Careof-DOCVA), Milan (2013); Placentia Arte, Piacenza (2010).
