Mathematical Escape or Mathematical Escape.
Thinking that fear steals our freedom, “Mathematical Escape” invites us to metaphorically build that atavistic relationship that exists between us and freedom, drawing lines that contravene the pitiless rules of perspective.
The aim is to draw a map that finds as a result a plausible polygon that I have called “K” and that, observing it, will take us metaphorically beyond the visual labyrinth, towards our fantasies that reside “behind the eyelids of closed eyes”, waiting for the wind of novelty to caress our freedom again. The design obtained can be painted with colours, collages, engravings…
Proceed with paper, graphite pencil, ruler and two squares, eraser and black pen.
As the attached table no. 2 illustrates: square an A4 sheet of paper with the graphite pencil,
once you have obtained the pencil drawing with the black pen (or the permanent colour you want), follow the necessary lines
to obtain the result indicated in Table 1; once this operation has been completed, delete the remaining pencil lines.
The drawing obtained is an impossible image, where every creator, as in a garden, can cultivate without fear his own dreams of freedom.
